Some of the types this law covers are: Corporation (S.A.): A company whose shares are represented by stock. Shareholders have limited liability to the contributed capital. Limited Liability Company (S. de R.L.): In this company, partners' liability is limited to the amount of their contributions. Simple Limited Partnership (S. en C.): Composed of general partners, who have unlimited liability, and limited partners, whose liability is limited to the contributed capital.
