• Handling instructions:Special requirements such as fragile handling or refrigerated transport.
• Flight details:Date, airline, and route of transport.
• Costs:Transportation rates and other applicable charges.

Characteristics of the AWB:

• Non-negotiable:Unlike the maritime bill of lading (Bill of Lading), the AWB cannot be negotiated or transferred to another consignee.
• Multiple copies:It is issued in several copies, intended for the shipper, the airline, the consignee, and others involved in the logistics chain.
