Increases efficiency in Motor Transport in a record year for the heavy vehicle industry

In a notable trend for the heavy vehicle industry, the accumulated results from January to October suggest a record year in sales, production and exports in the motor transport sector. Miguel Elizalde, executive president of the National Association of Bus, Truck and Tractor Producers (ANPACT), projects a positive year-end and a 2024 that will maintain this positive inertia. Despite these achievements, Elizalde points out that there is still a deficit to recover from the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
In terms of production and export, the horizon is also optimistic. In the period from January to October, the production of heavy units reached 186,830 units, an increase of 13.9% compared to the same period in 2022.
